Legal requirements
The legal requirements result from the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSG), in particular § 14 in conjunction with § 3 para. 1 BFSG with reference to the Ordinance to the Barrier-Free Accessibility Reinforcement Act (BFSGV).
Fulfilment of the accessibility requirements
The following standards and guidelines were applied to fulfil the accessibility requirements of this ticket shop:
- Harmonised European Standard (EN) 301 549, version 3.2.1
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2, levels A and AA
Our offer is based on standardised software for ticket shops. The manufacturer of this software has optimised this software with the support of digital accessibility experts and subjected it to an independent external accessibility test using examples. The manufacturer regularly carries out further automated or manual tests internally.
When configuring the software to implement our ticket shop, we took the manufacturer's instructions into account in order to achieve an accessible result.
Specifically, the ticket shop fulfils the requirements through the following measures, among others:
- The ticket shop is clearly structured, contains meaningful and sensibly structured headings and labelling. Links are clearly recognisable and meaningfully labelled.
- You can use this ticket shop with assistive technologies, such as screen readers, without losing any information.
- You can use and control the ticket shop with an external keyboard. This works for all areas and functions. Navigation takes place in a sensible order.
If you select interactive elements, such as links or buttons, using the keyboard, these are clearly highlighted (focus marking). - Texts and visual content have easily recognisable contrasts. The display (e.g. font sizes) can be customised via the settings in the browser and/or in your operating system. All content is accessible without colour differentiation and there are text alternatives for users with impaired vision.
- Our ticket shop works with different orientations. You can orientate your screen both horizontally and vertically. The display of areas, content and functions adapts automatically.
- The use of our ticket shop does not require the ability to hear or speak.
- If the conclusion of a booking has a time limit, this will be announced in good time. You can then extend the time limit.
- The ticket shop has been designed to help you avoid mistakes and correct them.
- Using the ticket shop does not require complex, path-based or simultaneous movements.
- The ticket shop does not contain any light or flash effects that trigger photosensitive seizures.
If you would like to give us feedback on the accessibility of our ticket shop, please contact us using the contact details given above under ‘Information about the provider’.
